Poems I’ve Never Shared

Few things expose the heart like a poem.

I’ve been writing poetry since high school. Distilling emotion, experience, carnality, anything into tight words is a (difficult) joy. I hope to publish a book of my poems someday… but I’m giving some of them to you first. I hope you read these today, and it inspires you to write one poem this week. Even if you’ve never written a poem before. Pick a moment, pick a feeling, and write a short poem about it. Then you’ll have that little artifact, forever.
